Dr. Darla M. Birchall has worked
in and studied the medical and health fields for over 18 years.
At 18 she began in traditional medicine by attending medical assisting
school and received state certification in Georgia for medical assisting
(although no longer certified). She holds a BS in Nutritional Sciences,
a Masters in Business Administration, a Doctor of Science in Natural
Health all from Rochville University. She recently obtained her Doctor of Naturopathy
from Trinity College of Natural
Health. She is a Certified Natural Health Professional and has
been Board Certified by both The American Alternative Medical
Association and The American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
Currently, she is the only Certified NES Practitioner in Georgia.
Additionally, she has been Certified in Colon Hydrotherapy by the
International Colon Hydrotherapist Association (I-ACT).
Darla is a lover of all
things science and dedicated toward furthering her knowledge base.
She often jokes (or perhaps is serious if she can find the time) that
her next doctorate will be a PhD in Physics. Often you can hear
her say "I don't yet know what I don't know". Her heart is in
research and "proving the improbable, unprovable or inconceivable". Lastly, her
favorite quote is..."Those who are not shocked when they first come
across quantum mechanics cannot possibly have understood it." by Niels
Henrik David Bohr (1885-1962) a Danish physicist.
What Dr. Birchall is
not… a licensed Medical Doctor, Physician, or Naturopathic Medical
Doctor (AKA Naturopathic Physician) or Doctor of Chiropractic. Darla is
a true Traditional Naturopath and believes that drugs & surgery should
be a "last resort" and not the first "solution" people seek.
However, to-date her
highest achievement has to be as founder and developer of the
BioEnergetic Identification Reset Technique (BIRT) protocol.
It was born out of her passion for solving the puzzles of Autism in her
daughter Hannah. Now it is for helping other mothers do the same.
